One of our Lighting Manufacturers hosted a “Webinar” today to introduce a new promotion. The promotion centering around adding lamps into the order, and that each time you did this it woudl make the entire order complete and therefore a “Home Run.” They the photo above of Mark Ellis to drive the point home. However as one guy in our office quicked reseached and typed into the genral chat of the Webinar, Mark Ellis has zero home runs this season. In fact he has only hit 70 homers in this his 7th year in the league. Just thought it was funny they used this mediocre 2nd baseman from Oakland to illustrate their point. Why not use a guy that acctually hits Homers…or that people have heard of. Who put this together…Mark Ellis? Or did they type into Google: “Generic Homer Run Photo.”
