Think you and your friends have come up with the most unique and original ways to open a beer bottle? Think again. Chris Sumers and Adam Young created this fast-paced video, Bottle Cap Blues, that shows everything from axes, to iPods, to nail guns, to belly buttons being used to crack open a cold…

Theirry Henry put in two goals, and assisted on one of Kenny Coopers two goals in this rout. The Red Bulls were in control the entire match, and it felt good to get a big win after getting our butts kicked in the first two away matches.

Feels good to have official season tickets this year, knowing I’ll be in that seat for every match of the season. I’m thinking about getting a sticker to put on the back of my seat “the exclusive property of Michael Benvenuto,” and a cup holder to mount on the railing, maybe even a small throw rug to place under my feet for comfort.

This is the bar (The Blind Pig) I’ve been going to on the...

This is the bar (The Blind Pig) I’ve been going to on the weekends to watch my beloved Arsenal FC

I was there for the match against Tottenham, and at the 44 second mark if you look to the end of the bar, at the top of the screen you can catch a quick glimpse of SORJ and my buddy Cyrus, who is also a massive Arsenal supporter.

If anyone ever wants to go see a match with me, let me know, it’s quite an experience.

Jersey City Street Justice:

While taking a mid-day nap after a long 4 days of moving into our new place in Jersey City, Sarah heard a comotion outside, so we got up to see what was going on. What we saw was an entire family beating the crap out someone. At first I’m thinking this guy did something during dinner that was disrespectful to the family, any number of senarios were running through my head; got the teenage daughter pregnent, told the family he lost their investments on the stock market, commented on how he didn’t like the food being served, etc… Eventually we hear them accusing him of breaking their mini-van window and stealing their GPS and some shopping bags that were in the front seat. Now it all makes sense, they saw this guy commit the crime though the window and ran out to set things straight. I started taping right after some of the heaviest punches and kicks were thrown, but there was still a lot of action. Their main goal being to keep him there until the police arrived.

Some of my favorite commentary:

“You broke my car window! And tried to steal our GPS!” - angry mob

“It wasn’t me man, it was another guy, he ran down the street” - Bum

“Liar! we saw you do it from our house!” - angry mob

Great excuse pal…

My Honda Element vs. the Dodge Viper

I was watching a live feed of this game in the office that afternoon, and I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw Henry make a run an seek through the Leeds defense, and with that magic first touch he put himself in position to tuck the ball in at the far post. Incredible moment, I’ll never forget it, and it made it really hard to get back to work.

But check out this link to the highlight, it’s the best version I could find that shows the entire build up and goal celebration, when Henry just totally loses himself in the moment as he runs around the field like a little kid.

From Deadspin: Call it a fairytale, call it destiny, don’t call it offside but Thierry Henry scoring for Arsenal (where he scored a club-record 226 goals between 1999 and 2007) is a story from the pages of British pulp fiction.

I’ve been playing a ton of FIFA12, and this is by far the...

I’ve been playing a ton of FIFA12, and this is by far the hottest song from the game’s soundtrack:
